things that didn't make sense in this movie:
- the light fury.
- the entire mating plot line.
- the hidden world. period. (if the hidden world literally changed everything why was it shown for maybe five minutes)
- why hiccup decided they had to live separately when the last two movies were all about how hiccup wanted to spread the compassion for dragons. the lesson that berk learned was just that dragons are another species and just being pets for them wasn't the best for the dragons. so why, since hiccup is all about spreading the love for dragons, did they have to completely remove themselves from humans instead of simply finding/creating more safe spaces for dragons.
- how it was incredibly easy for toothless to just leave hiccup throughout the movie, but then him leaving at the end was oh so hard for him. what is with this complete inconsistency in their relationship.

are these even the same characters like what.

honestly this movie would've been infinitely better if there was a larger focus on hiccup and astrid, the chiefdom, and how toothless, with the lesson above, would fit into that. and to remove the CRIME that was a romantic interest for toothless.

i'm so angry. i haven't felt this angry about a movie before.
