I couldn't get through the first 30 minutes, the fact that they were supposed to be in high school but the actors are 30ish pulled me out of it too much to be honest.. oh well

This movie resonates with so much even though I don't relate with the characters at all. I love the name of the movie and how they used it in the beginning of the movie to point out a foul in football. That was a real nice touch. Loved it ! Also Corr's acting was meant for the stars. The ending was heart breaking but indeed, a necessary evil. I hope they keep making movies like this.

I found this hard to finish because Tim becomes a rather unlikeable character tbh because he is not honest with John, and the film does not seem to explore John's life and is just focused on what Tim wants.

Occasionally powerful and affecting drama of two men growing up gay in Australia. The film maintains an upbeat tone despite the hardships and tragedies that befall the men. Based on a a true story.
