A Very condensed look at the formative years of metal, from its roots in the late 60's through to its true birth as a musical genre in the 70's with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest Motorhead (Many still rocking after 50+ years on the road). Leaving many other "music trends" in their dust. Not the most comprehensive Film as lots of Great Bands are ommited, Thin Lizzy (Phil Lynott born West Bromwich West Midlands) right up to the 80's and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal NWOBHM 'I can't be on stage all the time. I need to be able to go down to Morrisons and do me shopping'. Rob Halford:metal:
