I'm starting to understand why it's important to have good actors.

none of the characters are that likeable, kourtney kardashian is in it for some reason, and cameron's wig is terrible
addison rae said the line 'you don't deserve my croquembouche you croquemdouche'

however, despite feeling like a wattpad fanfiction, it was quite sweet! probably not going to be winning any oscars next season though

Liked the original and was looking forward to a gender switch and a modern take on the story, but the execution was disappointing. Tanner Buchanan's acting was great, but Addison Rae didn't sell her role very well. Just goes to show that tiktok stars don't necessarily make movie stars without proper training. The script also had quality issues with some outdated one liners and cheesy additions that weren't needed. It could have been so much better. Liked the addition of the original cast in new roles, that was fun! Ugh, just disappointed that it didn't turn out in similar quality to the original.

this wasnt as awful as i thought it'd be. for the most part the only things i really had issue with was the cringe comedy bits. addison rae wasn't bad in this, she did pretty well for the script she was given. for the genre it is and the story itself it couldve been a lot worse

WTF is wrong with hollywood that shit like this even gets considered. As if "she's all that" wasn't shitty enough in it's day. Sad, just fucking sad.

***if you enjoyed this movie you must be one of the most vain people on this planet***

just by looking at the actors list i can tell this is bad. No good actor would ever wanna get involved with this junk and rightly so. Weak sauce.

Tanner’s performance is good but Addison needs to keep working on her acting skills. It wasn’t as bad I thought, there were some good moments. Worth the watch.

The storyline was a common, but watchable, social media related teen romance. Surely, Addison Rae lacks enough acting skills, but it doesn't mean she must give up. On the other side, Tanner Buchanan was pretty good and I liked his performance.
If you ask me, I'll say give this movie a watch.

Standard teen fare. Both terrible and watchable. I wouldn't recommend or want to watch again but I kinda enjoyed it as a one off. With some better dialogue, it could have been good even.

I’m not the audience for this film and for the most part, it was as meh as I expected. However, I appreciated the digs at the modern obsession with social media and the movie wasn’t as shallow as it could have been. I will never watch it again but my time wasn’t completely wasted.

Honestly, I really liked this movie for many reasons, but I don't know what it looks like in the English version because I watched it in Polish and it was very well done, fact sometimes there were cringe scenes but I liked the movie anyway.

They even manage to screw up 'Kiss Me', i mean. The only good thing in this is Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard from the original one.

Why do Netflix have to keep trading off of the classic films by rebooting them in the worst way possible. You’ll enjoy it for the fluff piece it is but it lacks the pace of the original. She seems into him from the start so it’s difficult to believe she is in it for a bet.

But… I do love that Rachael Leigh Cook is in it from the original. Love her! And Matthew Lillard of course.
