Hatchback

I watch a lot of indie films so I generally know what I am getting into when I watch a movie with no reviews anywhere online. I think that's part of the journey - you never know if you are going to get a gem or a clunker. I expect them to be rough around the edges and that's often part of their beauty. Recently I've enjoyed indies like Captain Hagen's Bed and Breakfast. I don't want to bang on someone's art (especially an indie film - it's not as if I am putting myself out there by making them) but this one wasn't good. It isn't necessarily that it was bad.... it just wasn't good. It felt like someone was making a film for a college course. I know that watching it on a 4k tv probably didn't help as that kind of tv can make things look more like real life (which can be good or bad, even in good films).
