>*"How about a little nursery rap?"* Sooo much gun power, Americans must love this one. They really go hard on the explosions/fire and those sequences look absolutely stunning. Probably the most i've seen in a movie? Phenomenal action sequences and choreography. Great use of slow-motion at the right times (they overused it in the second half though). Love the enthralling score, it's memorable. It's also a good looking movie with colors that really pop. The two main characters are really good ones, pretty fleshed out for an action movie and I always understood what their motivations were. I think there's a little bit of a hidden, unintended(?) romance in this movie (the white roses scene and a few other scenes make it look like that) and looking at it that way certainly adds some emotions to the story. Made the movie better for me. The story's a simple one (revenge) but the addition of Alan with the gradual friendship building up and also the gang wars made it unpredictable and interesting. Favorite part was the fight in the warehouse in the first act. Overall I really enjoyed this, a newfound action favorite!

Yeah you can miss me that John Woo worship. Way too much jumping in the air shooting two guns in slow motion. It actually features a scene where a guy deliberately puts a zippo in a guy's pocket so he could shoot it without hurting the guy. Yup, this is stupid as all hell. This was like watching an 8 year old play with their action figures, cartoonish explosions and a body count that'd rival any Jason movie. It was just not enjoyable.

• During Chow Yun-fat's prime, compared to him, Tony Leung seemed a bit inexperienced. • John Woo isn't skilled at storytelling; he relies entirely on spectacle, which foreshadows his inability to produce good movies afterward. • It's lamentable how the ethical and moral standards in Hong Kong cinema during the 1990s were akin to the era of "Water Margin," where as long as the protagonist doesn't die, indiscriminate killings are deemed inconsequential. Being abandoned by the times was inevitable. • It's regrettable that this kind of violent storytelling persisted into the 2020s during the era of Qiu Litao. • Download: https://mypikpak.com/s/VNqMCAa8UiGBHqYPL-dJ9Tsbo1

Hard Boiled is one of my all-time favorite HK action movies. Everything with this movie is as close to perfect you can get. The story is engaging, the action is as over-the-top as only John Woo can make it, and Chow Yun-Fat is excellent as a revenge-driven cop. There might be some conflict of interest here as this was one of the movies that introduced me to the hard HK action, but who cares. Hard Boiled is good...very good.

**Who wants to see a free bloodbath before breakfast today?**

Hong Kong has a long history of good action cinema, but this movie didn't seem that good and interesting to me. Many people love it, they say it is wonderful, and I accept that very well, I think that everyone has their own tastes, but More
