When the fleet puts in at San Francisco, sailor Bake Baker tries to rekindle the flame with his old dancing partner, Sherry Martin, while Bake's buddy Bilge Smith romances Sherry's sister, Connie. But it's not all smooth sailing—Bake has a habit of losing Sherry's jobs for her and, despite Connie's dreams, Bilge is not ready to settle down.

The stars of this movie are Ginger Rogers, the monkey, and then Fred Astaire... in that order. I regretfully have to doc 1 star from this rating because the monkey doesn't get it's credit.

I will admit that this isn't one of my favorites when it comes to Fred Astaire and Ginger Roberts films. It's a good film, with lots of fun dancing, but the truth is that there are just other movies of theirs that I like better. This is another film where the Astaire and Rogers romance takes the backstage, in this case the primary romance is for Roger's sister. Having said that, it's still a fun film with great dancing, and a good reccomendations for fans of Astaire and Rogers
