Enjoyed it, shame this isn’t in the trending list top10. People are missing out. Can’t wait for the next ones Ps! Don’t forget the 2 (yes 2) scenes in and after the credits on the end.

Visually, this is quite the spectacle with so many grand shots and well-done action scenes. While the CGI can be spotty at times and the pacing was slow during certain parts, this was still a really good movie in my opinion. Another thing to note is that the English captions can be slightly wrong, but the overall story was enjoyable.

As with any film that's the first in a trilogy, this spends just a little too long setting out who's who but once it does, this develops into an enjoyable fantasy adventure film that brings a wonderfully vibrant myriad of Chinese mythological and human characters to life.
