It was ok, pretty entertaining. It was definitely no Hangover (the level of this genre has been defined) and Planes, Trains & Automobiles is of course far superior. It has it's dark moments (spitting on a dog and punching a kid - WTF?) - but it's worth a watch.

A lot of people said this is a Plane,Trains and Automobiles ripoff, but you know what who cares. This was a funny laugh out loud film. Downey and Galifianakis have funny chemistry, they just play off each other perfectly. Like The Hangover it is one entertaining misadventure, I say don't listen to the critics, see this movie and form your own opinion.

I remember seeing billboards for this when it came out and going oh come on, this is just a Planes Trains wanna be. I saw it...and sure, it wants to be that. But goddamnit if I didn't laugh my ass off in theaters, then rent it and laugh my ass off, then buy it on blu ray and laugh my ass off, and force anyone around me to watch it every year or two. There are a few comedies out there that have been unfairly forgotten and this is one of them. Two more are Horrible Bosses 1 AND 2. Funny stuff.

My brother loves this movie. To me though it wants to be Planes, Trains and Automobiles but it's not as memorable. While I usually find Robert Downey Jr. more likeable. He just didn't seem right for a Steve Martin like role. Zach Galifianakis isn't bad even he pretty much playing Alan from the Hangover again. You also have Danny McBribe as an asshole but an asshole in a wheelchair. So I guess that means he's not type cast because he always plays assholes but never a crippled one. Jamie Foxx isn't bad though for the small amount of screen time he has.

Decent watch, probably won't watch again, and can't whole-heartedly recommend.

This is an interesting movie to look at critically. The writing, mostly in the character work, feels weak. It actually has an interesting plot, for the most part: an idiot, through deceit, drags a jerk with him on a More

I really wanted to watch this movie mainly because of Robert Downy Jr. Just looking at the poster...he's hot!

So the movie is funny but not LMAO-funny. It has a touching side to it. Of course, I felt so happy seeing Robert Downey Jr. just being his plain hot self. He looks good when he's clean More

A generic road trip movie with two terrible people who continuously make bad choices in a predictable plot rife with even more predictable "gags". Galifianakis portrays an even dumber and less funny version of the Hangover while Downey plays a less intelligent and less humorous version of Tony Stark More
