Jesus the early DBZ material really makes you hate Chi-Chi...

This film is honestly just ok if I'm being honest, when I think about it it's just a rehash of the Saiyan saga. It doesn't really do anything out of this world y'know? The start of it felt boring, the Gohan and Icarus scenes dragged on for way too long. When the action picks up the Turles scenes are pretty good though that's probably because I really enjoyed seeing Goku get thrashed by him. The 2 things I disliked the most is that this film really hammers in the fact how useless everyone except Goku is....and that there's barely any action, it just left me saying "That's it"...?

Surprisingly I liked the henchmen this time around, I found that they had memorable designs unlike the previous ones and they actually felt like they were equal to the Z Fighters that they faced. When it came time for them to fight Goku they took me by surprise since they were actually smart enough to take on Goku all at the same time in a short 5 on 1 fight. Turles is an improvement over the previous 2 villains in my opinion. While he's simply just another Saiyan I really like that they went for a "What would Goku be like if he never lost his memory?". His fighting is brutal and he tries to go all out from the start but I felt his battles were short. That's honestly all I can say about him, his gimmick is just "Evil Goku".
