went into this movie knowing barely anything about it and to be honest it was nice, Joe Hisaishi's music never fails, such a beautiful score

When was the last time that you saw a movie whose lead was an undertaker? This movie is an absolute treasure. I love how the movie didn't need to beat you over the head with dialog. The movie asks for the audience to be patient and the reward is a most beautiful film. One side note - I think the Japanese tradition shown in the film is far more personal than what is done in the west. Also, see our Roger Ebert's review for this movie if you can. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies or facebook I HATEBadMovies
