2021 - 5 years after the outbreak of a mysterious virus that turned humans into bloodthirsty, undead beasts much of the world’s population has been decimated. When governments were unable to keep the disease at bay, the Contagion Special Unit was formed with the toughest soldiers and best specialists to fight the infected. Because of the rapidly decreasing number of soldiers, a popular online video game Dead Trigger that mirrors the terrifying events was created. The best efforts of the gamers are monitored by the CSU who recruit the highest rated zombie killers. The young recruits are called “Dead Triggers”. The movie follows a group of young recruits who must travel to the origin of the outbreak to find a missing team of scientists who were searching for a cure.

Low budget zombie movies can be good, a zombie movie starring Dolph Lundgren should be good! This is anything but. There's a load of IMDB trivia which suggests that Mike Cuff originated it and walked after last minute changes to his script however I can't substantiate that elsewhere other than a news article that says Cuff was fired after two days. Either way the outcome isn't pretty - the various posters do a good job of making this thing look better than it actually is.

I didn't know what to watch and I didn't want my pizza to get cold by searching a movie to watch too long so I randomly clicked on a movie and got this garbage... A cold pizza would have been better.

Absolutely terrible zombie-horror-action movie with horrible acting with none of the young actors possessing any on-screen chemistry, bad writing, amateurish direction (by two different directors, one coming in after the other left due to "creative differences") and the dye job they did on Lundgren' More
