I was very frustrated by this movie. The main character is a bit of a swindler who falls in love and elopes. After the wedding he's a deadbeat who doesn't work and who starts hitting his wife. When he finds out she's pregnant he wants a fresh start for them but decides to do it by robbing someone and ends up dying in the process. Heaven gives him one day to go down and fix things. And that's where things get worse. He doesn't fix anything! He watches his daughter for a bit but when he tries to talk to her he ends up hitting her too! Then his daughter and wife talk about how getting hit by him is more like getting kissed because it doesn't hurt since they know it was done with love. What a horrible message! And in the end all he ends up doing is whispering in her ear and telling her to believe the words of her graduation speech. He's a deadbeat and a loser all the way and he did nothing to help them at all! This movie ended up being nothing like what I was expecting.
