Butterfly Kisses is like finding fries at the bottom of your fast food bag: tasty and a pleasant surprise. Not only is this found footage film about Peeping Tom -- a local urban legend -- good for found footage, it's also good for a normal movie.

A fake documentary mixed with found footage that presents a creative and engaging approach. The film skillfully interweaves two distinct focuses: the first is the amateur footage, which seeks to portray the existence of an urban legend; the second is the person who found these recordings and tries to finish the project, while justifying the veracity of the images. As the story unfolds, there are disputes and debates that enrich the plot. It's an intriguing, curious and bizarre film that stands out for its attempt to deconstruct its own style. It's very interesting to watch.

Gavin York is the least likeable character in the history of cinema. I legitimately hate him. The movie has an interesting theme of truth in film and aside from some bad acting, the whole thing feels genuine. It's good, not great.

Honestly I love this found footage. Not only does it take shots on found footage itself but takes itself to an experimental level where those covering the found footage become part of it as well.

Basically a found footage of a subject during the past, present, and near future.
