Brimstone

I've REALLY enjoyed this movie & the stunning storyline (I confess that they could've worked in some aspects better, but overall it was great). I would like to point out that Dakota Fanning's performance was sensational,[spoiler] even, for the most part, relying solely on her facial and body expressions[/spoiler]. The film is heavy and will probably take your breath away, but it shows explicitly how the reproduction of what was written in the Bible can be manipulated and used so easily by men with intent to rebuke women. For me, Guy Pearce's character shouldn't be so privileged to appear prominently in posters and reviews. Dakota's character is the true star of this movie, which shows how a woman can be brave and strong to endure so much pain and suffering and still keep fighting - and this was beautifully reproduced by Fanning and Jones. I was also blown away by the cinematography & the structure it was decided to be presented the storyline. Simply well made.
