Didn't hate it. Cast was top tier. It has Princess Nokia in the soundtrack which always bumps.

It's no Promising Young Woman but it didn't have a dumpster fire ending that meant nothing. A few bits of confusion a few character moments that probably should have been less futile.

I did like the scene where one of the girls went full sovereign citizen/first amendment auditor on the cop that pulled them over. They actually cited the proper law and procedures for that incident. The "only in the movies" moment is that the cop cared. When a cop pulls you over illegally pointing out that it's illegal doesn't get them to magically back off. They just lie and say you were holding weed or unicorn farts or whatever and then civil asset forfeiture your stuff.

One of the things PYW did so very well that this movie doesn't do is highlight the friendliness of those who rape. In real life it's not the boogeymen snatching you off the street or Fratboy douchbags those risks are real but the greatest risk is the old friend you could be into for the night who goes way too far. In spite of that being the inciting incident in this movie, it's not the focus. The focus is on FratBros and their militant counterparts the ProudBoy-likes.
