The idea behind _Arthur Rambo_ is thought provoking and very much _du jour_. A young writer starts getting positive attention for a memoir about his mother, until his online history surfaces. When he was 16, he published thousands of antisemitic, homophobic and sexist tweets under the pseudonym 'Arthur Rambo'.

What could've been an interesting exploration of 'how far is too far' and 'how much are we responsible for our past actions online' is washed away in the tsunami of cringe contained in the tweets. Instead of engaging us in a dialog, the writer's published comments are so vile that we're happy for his every setback and dismiss his attempts to explain his comments as the whinings of a little bitch.

An idea that needed to be concocted as deftly as a Bloody Mary turns out as subtle as Jägermeister.
