It was good. Harris and Mortensen are great together, but it just felt like something was missing. The cast was really good overall, but the females characters both were written too flat. Zellweger's character could've been really a much deeper character, the elements were there but the script didn't bring it out. I cannot blame Zellweger, as the words just weren't there. For as much sass as the Chace initially had, the script never allowed that to continue. Just grossly underwritten.
Most of male characters were written fairly well, albeit even a couple of the secondary characters again, underdeveloped.

The friendship between the two main characters was pretty poignant, and I think that would play well regardless, but a great example of the script not quite being all it could be was the very ending. Felt like it could've been drawn out just a little more before the shooting.

6.8 out of 10. It wasn't a waste of time, but it isn't winning any awards.
