A funeral car cruises the streets of Medellín, while a young director tells the story of his past in this violent and conservative city. He remembers the pre-production of his first film, a Class-B movie with ghosts. The young queer scene of Medellín is casted for the film, but the main protagonist dies of a heroin overdose at the age of 21, just like many friends of the director. Anhell69 explores the dreams, doubts and fears of an annihilated generation, and the struggle to carry on making cinema.

[IDFA '22] As a sort of expansion to his short film "Son of Sodom" (2021), the director once again focuses on a young actor who died after taking part in a casting for his first feature film. Hybrid between fiction and autobiographical essay, there is a meta-narrative reflection that speaks of an unfinished project in which a dystopian Colombia is shown in which the dead coexist with the living, and spectrophilia is violently persecuted. But above all it reflects a queer youth whose nearest future is to pass into the land of the dead.
