One night, two babysitters, five kids and various adventures!

Now its Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) turn after Riley's (Rowan Blanchard) 'Invisible Sister'. I'm referring the two best friends from 'Girl Meets World'. This film saw a delayed release and initially it was said to be a sequel to the 80s film of the same name, but now it stated as an official remake. The basic theme was retained and the rest was modified to the present trend. They aimed for G and/or PG, not anything above that, so they had to give up those risky stuffs from the original, hence became a simple one night adventure.

The 100th film under the Disney channel's belt. I neither liked nor disliked it. It's a mixed feeling to me, but if you had loved the original film, which was for all ages, most certainly you won't enjoy this. This film is for those who had not seen the old version and it specially targeted for the little kids and tween audience. The main issue was the film characters doubled with the two babysitters and their two sets of children to be taken care, which means the adventures drastically shrunk.

There's no innovation and those altered scenes didn't do anything to lift the spirit of the narration. Especially the rap song was a disappointment compared to the 'Babysitting Blues' and also weak negative characters let the film down. But the display from the cast was amazing, if only they had refined story upto 60-70% new ideas, it had a good chance to impress the viewers. Overall, as a television film it did fared decently, but only when compared with the original, it goes stumbling.

Maybe it is me. Maybe it is Disney, I don't know. Or maybe they just wanted to make Disney's 100th original TV movie a great one. Well, It did not happen the way we expected it; I expected it. I can boldly say that this is one of the worst Disney Channel Original Movie I have ever seen.
Sabrina Carpenter plays beautifully in Girl Meets World. Now we can see what happens with her in a movie. Like somebody threw her in the deep water with no help. She is just so one dimensioned, not official. I was in pain watching her acting in this creation. Sofia Carson was selectod to the other major role in this movie. Well, I have absolutely no idea why. Altough, the bad, rocker girl kind of theme really did fit her but I felt like she was somehow lost in it with no idea what to do. She was also one-sided and flat in the movie.
The hell I do not understand why Disney must cast actors from other series or movies to play the main roles. Why can't they just give a shot to unknown artists?

The children were terrible as well. Though I could not really see it but when I concentrated on their actions only I saw that they play a line, a convencional form of what they were told to do so and that's all; after it is done, they are left empty.

The scenes, the storyline, the other stars and the ending were full of clichés and American propaganda. Everything is safe, beautiful, domestic, blablabla.. OK we get it: America is the best place ever. (So not!)

If you ever want to waste your energy and time on a boring story and movie like this, watch it then. Otherwise I am really ashamed of myself to spend my time on this. I wanted to give it a shot because it is the 100th but oh my god, what the hell was this terrible trash and dollop?
