This is one of the strangest movies I've seen in a while. On one hand it is very clearly a Hollywood movie, filled with Hollywood people. But on the other the whole thing plays more like a soap opera. Like a whole season of a soap opera that was edited down to a movie runtime. I think every scene has a shocking revelation, or big twist, or dramatic confession. Every time you think you know what is going to happen with the rest of the movie, that whole thing either plays out in 5 minutes or the opposite happens. Are you a sufferer of TSB (Twist Seeking Behaviour)? Then this is the movie for you.

This was surprisingly good. Blake Lively kills it, she steals the movie. Anna Kendrick is great too. The are a lot of good laughs and the plot is interesting. Definitely worth a watch.

I went to see this movie expecting to see a serious movie similar to Gone Girl. Well, it turned out it was a comedy! Nevertheless the movie was good. The Crazy Rick Asians guy wasn’t so good but this should’ve been expected since this is his 2nd movie. Blake Lively has a potty mouth but considering she’s married to Ryan Reynolds ... Her outfits were awesome and I swear I saw a nipple when she was wearing that “mansuit” at the cemetery scene. Be on the lookout. Acting-wise - she killed it! Anna Kendrick was funny as usual. For the book purists - I haven’t read the book yet but I overheard that the movie didn’t quite end like the book. I don’t want to leave spoilers so I will leave it at that. And for the movie itself - it was funny, even at the most dramatic scenes, without ruining it. It had a lot of turns and twists. As usual some were predictable but isn’t this part of the fun trying to guess what would happen? Go see it and have fun for couple of hours!

With too many twists to count “A Simple Favor” is as campy and entertaining as one might expect.

You know I was confused a lot but interested. Suspense thriller it turned into. It all makes sense though in the end. Really enjoyed watching this.

_**Stylish, self-aware, and hilarious - a (mostly) enjoyable parody**_

First and foremost, this film feels like someone went to their local grocery store, grabbed a random three-dollar mystery novel off the checkout shelf, and decided to make it a movie with some extremely popular and attractive people. In other words, it's a silly mystery movie with crazy, zany twists More
