every once in a while i stumble upon a silent / relaxing movie such as this one, and i'm glad i did, i'm glad i finally watched it, i didn't regret one second of it
the music of course, was captivating, i literally had a _Feeling_ that it was composed by Joe Hisaishi and it in fact was;

the whole vibe of the movie was very soothing, but that sudden twist at the end, Shigeru just... disappearing into the waves, that was heart breaking, and even more so that ending montage of them and some scenes we never got to see on screen, their little moments together, that was too much for me

i really didn't think and had no idea i'd get attached like this to A Scene at The Sea but i did, also when Takako honors Shigeru's memory by sticking that picture of them on his surf board and then letting it go like that, **man.**
