First, a question?

Why do we need this film?

Easy, we don't. Because we don't need **any** film. But it's a film's job to make us forget this, to provide us enough ignorance that we don't have to question its existence, or film's existence in general.

Sadly, _Un Homme Pressé_ isn't up to this task. It simply leaves us wondering why we need to see inside this drawer of cheap clichés that smells like the mothballs of déjà vu.

A very wealthy man has a minor stroke and learns what's really important in life. And we're meant to feel sorry for him because suddenly he's confronted with problems you and I face every day of our lives, yet we have to fight them with limited resources while he's independently wealthy and can just throw money at whatever challenges arise. Poor little rich businessman.

Then, they have the gall to tack on the totally unrelated story of his North African speech therapist in an effort to make the film more politically palatable, but sadly the only viewers stupid enough to fall for that ploy aren't interested in this sort of film to begin with.

The French title translates into, "A Busy Man", but the only kind of busy you need be is busy avoiding this shallow attempt at sincerity.
