40 días perdidos en la selva

The story of this film is inspired by the news that shocked Colombia and the world between the months of May and June 2023, in which four children and their mother suffered a plane crash in which the mother and the pilot perished, being the little ones the survivors of the tragedy, suddenly finding themselves immersed in an unexpected situation of survival, in the middle of the Colombian jungle. Four children, under the care of the oldest sister of 12, with the idea of returning home, begin to walk without knowing exactly where to go. They have no food or help of any kind. Groups of indigenous people begin to look for them as well as members of the Colombian army, not knowing if they are alive or have perished. Forty days later, an indigenous search party finds them and hands them over to the authorities. Nature, its resources, its sounds, its fauna. Music, childhood and with it, innocence, are the protagonists of this film that will touch the hearts of the audience.
